I don’t often step out on the limb to predict the way sports are going to come out, but this is what I think will happen: The Cardinals are going to take at least two games at home. Maybe all three. They’ve been unbeatable at home in the post-season. So, there’s a very good chance the return to Fenway will take place with the Red Sox trailing 3-2. That means they have to win both games at home…which they will do.
After all…how could this series not go to seven games and keep baseball fans everywhere perched on the edges of their seats, coronary thromboses a heart beat away?
Absolutely. I believe it’s a conspiracy of advertisers to stretch any given series out to seven games.
It’s the Red Sox in 5, maybe even 4.
