What a ball game!

Posted on | October 20, 2004 | No Comments

I rarely watch sports until the playoffs come along, so I’m not used to the stress.

Last night’s Red Sox/Yankees game was a real stresser. From about the time A-Rod slapped the ball out of the pitcher’s hand onward, I was on the edge of my seat, waiting for some cataclysmic screw up to end the Red Sox season. It didn’t come…and, boy, was I relieved when the Sox registered that long-coming third out in the ninth inning.

Today, it’s a double-header of stress. The Astros are playing this afternoon, the Sox tonight. Of course, I’ve still gotta fit in Lost, one of about three TV shows I watch this fall.

Filming wrapped yesterday on Gotham Cafe , the short film adaptation of King’s Lunch at the Gotham Cafe, which I co-scripted. I’ve put a ton of behind the scenes photos up on the film’s official web site. We have both shooting pics and special effects pics. Page four of the SFX pics contains some violent images, so if you’re squeamish, beware.
