My agent received the final, clean copy of my manuscript and is currently helping to brush up my unwieldy synopsis. The current plan is for him to start contacting editors next week, after the holiday. He’s putting together a list and I added a few that I’ve had contact with over the years. So, off we go. How exciting!
Don’t forget that tonight is Desperation night on ABC. If you’re planning to tape it, make sure you record the whole thing—it’s on for three hours and not two.
I’m up to book five of the Blackwater series. Each installment seems to take me less time to read than the one before it. Part one took quite a while because I had a lot going on at the time. It’s a fun series, steeped in period feeling, so much so that I have to keep reminding myself it was written in the 80s and not the 40s. I’m glad I took the time to read the books.
It is exciting for me to read/watch you get Missing Persons out in the daylight since I am new to your world. I hope to be able to buy a First Edition BV Book.
I still am awaiting the arrival of my C.D. copy of your RTDT as well as two other books I have ordered from them. Sec. Dance being one of them and I know it is forthcoming, but the others are in stock and I am squirming until I can clutch them.
In other book news, I am half way through CELL and loving it. It is just like a fifties black & white sci-fi, with SK’s use of current events and music titles to bring it alive for this Level of The Tower.
5 1/2 hours until Desperation here on the west coast…tic toc TAK!
peace,
