Though I did get to meet him and say how much I enjoyed his work in Cemetery Dance. He's a very nice man. This past weekend was my first time at an author reading, and I have to say that out of those I got to, Dallas was the best. I was reminded of a younger me being read to by my mother, trying her best to create a voice for every character. Great essay. I was at HFW ’06, but did not have the chance to attend Tom’s reading.
