Season’s Greetings to one and all. I’m going to be spending the next few days poking around at a new project I’ve been contemplating for a couple of months now, as well as doing a quick rough polish on Ghost Inn while I enjoy my Christmas present: cable TV. I’ve joined the 20th century! No more rabbit ears. Ain’t technology grand? The challenge is to make sure that it doesn’t cut into my productivity, but that shouldn’t be a major issue. I do most of my writing in the morning and there’s no temptation to turn the TV on in our house until the evening. A side-bonus—I figured out how to program the universal remote so we can now ditch four remotes into the closet and just use one.

I did that in September, but we only got the basic package – so only 20 channels. But even so, I got to watch the Shuttle land on the Library Channel this afternoon. ROFL :ahem:
