As part of my desk-clearing initiative, I read through a story that I thought was pretty close to being ready to send out again. It’s not a new story, but it’s one that I’ve only submitted a couple of times. … Continue reading

Eureka wears its heart on its sleeve. They could use a sledgehammer to drive home the theme each week, but they stop just short. I don’t care—I just enjoy the show. It makes me laugh. Had a good chuckle when … Continue reading

X-ville
I lasted about five minutes into K-ville last night before I switched the TV off and returned to reading Exit Music. It was too much of a mish-mash and I found myself not really trying hard to pay attention to … Continue reading

Vampires prefer red wine
What would you expect to find at www.vampire.com? My wife arrived home the other night with two bottles of vampire wine. Romanian, of course. From Transylvania, even. Nice, classy bottles, with only a few pithy quotes on the back label … Continue reading

To tell the truth
My September essay at Storytellers Unplugged went up this morning: It’s hard to tell the truth. The podcast version should be up at Podango and on iTunes shortly. If you’ve been following along, you might recognize the story that forms … Continue reading
