Two approaches to season finales
First, there’s the Boston Legal approach, where you wrap up all the loose ends and send the characters on vacation. Gone fishin’. Brilliant. (I liked Denny’s aside about using the same law firm on both sides to save on the … Continue reading

Claustrophobia
I spent most of the day in a small, windowless conference room. Didn’t even get out for lunch—that was brought in. I feel zonked. I was very pleased to see this pop up when I logged onto Facebook today: (Peter … Continue reading

Is there a House in the Doctor?
Season finale of House: very, very good. It showcased all the characters’ strengths and weaknesses. At first, I thought that 13 and Amber had an affair at some point, to explain 13′s disorientation, but the actual explanation was even better. … Continue reading

The past comes back to haunt me
I took the day off from work yesterday to clean out my to-do list. It started with getting my driver’s license renewed. I showed up at the DPS office about 20 minutes before it opened. Six or seven people were … Continue reading

Amanda wuz robbed
In my opinion, at least (re Survivor). I couldn’t believe the outcome of the voting, especially after seeing that Erik voted for Amanda, his diatribe notwithstanding. I wonder what would have happened in the event of a tie? Would they … Continue reading

Erik, Erik, Erik
It was like something out of The Sting or The First Wives Club, the way the four women pulled together to con Erik on Survivor last night. The final ten minutes were the funniest thing on reality TV in ages. … Continue reading
