    Acted like a fool today. Went to the pharmacy to get new medicines and when i had stood in line and it was my turn i remember that my ID is in the other jacket, at home! You cant take out medicines except the most basic if you do not ID yourself. You can use BankID too, an app on my phone, but the phone was home recharging the batteries and i thought i just make a quick errand. Told the kind pharmacist i felt like a fool!!

    6,th of june, the Swedish national day. (from the coronation date of Gustav Vasa in 1523). He ended a several centuries long war between denmark and several swedish clans about who should rule Sweden. By making Sweden a kingdom that was inherited and not a kingdom where the nobles choose the king among themselfes. By doing that he is often called the founder of Sweden even if we have had kings before him. In our neighbor kingdoms, Denmark, Norway, England and France kingdom by inheritance had long been the norm so it wasn't really a novel idea but he was the first to make it accepted in Sweden. He had to beat down a lot of uprisings from many sides but he was successful. He died in 1560 from a fever. For a king in those days that was a long reign.  To commmemorate this i raised a cup of Ouzo and a cup of Elderberry Schnaps. And of course it rains outside. It almost almost does on our national day.....

    I just watched an episode of Long Way Home and they were in Sweden. Gorgeous, beautiful views. They were in a forest area where hanging from the trees were pipes and wood and it was musical — i loved that. And then they watched a snowmobile race — on water! And they slept at this campground that was all tree forts created by many designers. All different styles.  I loved it.

    We had rain this night and morning. Its amazing hom much happier the grass, trees and bushes looked. They practically smiled at me on my little walk. And they somehow smell healthy happy too. I'm not really a fan of rain falling on my head but if a little rain makes the plants happy, i'm happy.
