New interview (Borders Media)
Horror master Stephen King sat down with Borders recently to discuss Just After Sunset. The troubled, mysterious characters who populate King's first short-story collection in six years include a blind girl with a miraculous touch and a mute hitchhiker. Just as the title implies, these stories inhabit a murky, uncertain space that only King can traverse knowingly. The author also talked about Duma Key, now out in paperback: The creepy, unsettling ghost story is set in otherwise-sunny Florida, and King elaborated on the idea for a more tropical backdrop.
