I just got the contract for my essay (title above), which will be part of a collection of critical essays. I've had this one in with the editor (would you believe the editor lives on Flagg St?!) for a while, but the contracts have just been issued, which is a good sign that the work is starting along the road to publication.

    After meeting everyone here and seeing how many "19s" and DT/King related references influence our daily lives, I am pretty much open to believing in anything :)

    I'm waiting to hear from the publisher before I say more. I don't want to jump the gun. In fact, I posted more originally, then realized that the project hadn't been announced yet and cut what I wrote back to what you see.
