So many people dislike it.  I really thought it was fun. Different? Yes. But I appreciated the vision.

Be sure and give us your thoughts. I wonder how it ages? It worked at the time, maybe it won’t hold up at all and be even more hated.

....I thought it was good, not great.....Ahhhh-nold gave his usual wooden performance and Richard Dawson was spot on.....

Yes, richard Dawson had that smarmy character down pat.

I haven't watched it in a while, my memory of it would tie in with Scott's opinion, it was fun but had its flaws. 🤔

I have never been one to get on a bandwagon because I was afraid not to be one of the mindless crowd.  I also don’t go all contrarian just to be a rebel. I am honest about where I fall on any particular thing.  If I happen to jump on the bandwagon— fine. If I don’t? I don’t wait for others to tell me what to think or fear thinking different than my friends. 

So, I welcome Brian keene to Xanadu. I am not alone. I’ve never heard anyone else say they loved the Arnold version of this movie except me.  Brian Keene has come out of the shadows to share his love on his substack.

Paramount has pushed The Running Man back a week, moving the highly anticipated King adaptation from Nov. 7 to Nov. 14. The delay was reportedly made by the studio to take advantage of access to IMAX screens.

Well, i wouldn't say i loved it, it certainly had flaws in it, but an action packed entertainment ride is nothing to sneer at. Good fun. Will be interesting to see a new version.
