moon phases

I was just wondering about the phases of the moon in the dark tower series. There seems to be quite alot of emphasis put on what the moon is doing at any given time any info. would be cool.

    Interesting observation, Ward. I think the different kinds of moon are used to demark the passing of time and the season more than anything else. If you look at the timetable of the series at the end of my book, you'll see that the entire timespan from the beginning of DT1 to the end of DT7, excluding flashbacks and fistulas, is a little over a year, so perhaps King is using the moon to help readers realize that.
