Got myself into a project. It’s been a loonnnngggg time since I got jacked about something. 

My main bathroom needs a good refresh.  The walls and ceiling got painted and now, I am redoing the cabinets. 

Since all the cabinets in there are serious built-in solid wood, I’m leaving them. At one point, I was going to gut the bathroom, but after gutting master bath and bedroom last year — And it is beautiful! — I do not have the patience for how long that takes. 

So, I am going to paint these cabinets. Paint is an easy perk-up and if you hate it, you can change it.  I am using a product called Beyond Paint.  It’s expensive for how little you THiNK you are getting. It seriously goes a long way.  Self leveling, no brush strokes. Goes on so smooth and you don’t need to strip, sand, prime. You only have to clean and degrease.  

But, I did sand. I didn’t have to.  I really wanted a solid clean surface though. So quick, they are looking frigging amazing. 

I also don’t have to seal, but again, water area so I will do a light coat of sealer. 

Now. As long as I don’t ADHD glitch out, a couple days and it will be a whole new space.

It’s a blue. Not navy but deep blue.

....that's next on our home reno.....the main bathroom.....I cannot wait to get that Medieval peasant's poop hole removed.....

it is really amazing what simple upgrades, done nicely, can do for a space.
