My short story “False Witness” was accepted by Dark Cloud Press for their themed anthology Thou Shalt Not, which is slated for publication next year. It’s probably obvious which of the ten commandments my story tackles from the title.
Have I mentioned before how difficult it is to edit a novel? Man, it’s tough slogging. You have to be on the ball to consider the implications of every little change. A minor rewrite here might invalidate something that won’t come up again for several chapters. I’m reaching the point in Missing Persons where I’ll be making some fairly substantial modifications and my head is swimming at the thought.
