I’m still riding on a cloud of elation from yesterday’s acceptance letter. One acceptance can erase the cumulative effect of any number of rejection letters, I’ve found. Like one really good night’s sleep can counteract cumulative sleep deprivation. I signed the contract for EQMM and sent them an electronic copy of the manuscript. Haven’t been assigned to a particular issue, yet.
My favorite new show of the season continues to be The Big Bang Theory. The first ten minutes of last night’s episode were hilarious. I think they need to be a little careful with Sheldon’s character, though, to keep him from being so neurotic that he becomes dislikable. “I’m going to watch what remains of Doctor Who, though at this point it’s more like Doctor Why Bother?”
