You know how sometimes you’re driving down a country road and you hit a spot with a bunch of curves and hills that slow you down, but then you reach a nice straightaway and you goose the gas pedal to make up for lost time?
That’s a little what it’s like to edit this manuscript I’m working on. There are blocks of pages or chapters that take me forever to revise, then I hit a patch like this morning and zip through over ten pages of revisions in an hour or so. I like it when that happens.
