Today’s tasks:
- Print out a clean copy of Missing Persons
- Send above to my agent
- Reduce the 103,000-word novel to a two-to-three page catchy synopsis. In the words of my agent, it has to give people a good glimpse of the book and act like a movie teaser. I don’t think I’ve ever heard it said quite that way before.
- Prepare a lengthy personal bio to accompany submissions
- Start working on my Storytellers Unplugged essay for the 17th
I’m cleaning off the shelves of some redundant (duplicate) items, so I have four auctions running on eBay, all with ridiculously low starting bids. I’m not in it for the money, I’m in it for the shelf space!
The items are:
- Windows by Ray Garton, CD signature series, PC copy, out of print
- The Abandoned by Doug Clegg, CD limited edition, PC copy, out of print
- The Planet of the Apes: Evolution, limited edition, six-DVD set featuring the five movies and Behind the Planet of the Apes bonus disk
- The Planet of the Apes: The complete TV series. Four DVDs, including one never-aired episode.
