I haven’t been getting much writing done this week. I’m not exactly sure why. I think it may be because my sleep schedule has been disrupted a bit. I’m fairly regular in my sleep habits, and when things get knocked out of kilter, it messes me up a little. I’ve been getting up on schedule, but just not getting the job done. I have three short stories that are knocking around inside my head and I hope to let at least one of them out this weekend.
I rented The Prestige and Stranger than Fiction for us to watch this weekend. We don’t go out to the cinema very often, so I’m pleased that DVD release schedules have accelerated over the years. That way when I see a preview for something that I really want to see, I can console myself that it’ll be at Blockbuster before too long.
So, Survivor took an interesting twist last night. Just when it looked like Ravu was on the ropes, fate tosses them a gimme. One guy out because of illness and a voluntary hit on Moto’s part because of the dreaded message in a bottle. I read somewhere that Jeff was amazed by how quickly Moto adopted an entitlement attitude after getting to live in the lap of luxury, and they proved it by willing to sacrifice numerical strength for comfort. Now things are numerically even and Moto is starting to show some signs that things aren’t quite harmonious. Of course, Ravu is still as dysfunctional as ever, but they’ve been given a chance to turn things around.
