It’s hard to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. Or, it’s hard to create tension in a program when the outcome is pretty obvious. I thought Courtney’s dad was hilarious. “I don’t do shorts.” And the look on his face when he found out he was going to be part of the competition…priceless. With James gone, I don’t really see a strong contender, nor anyone that I’m really rooting for or will care particularly if they get booted. Slim pickings, I’d say, though I’ll continue to watch. Amanda’s the cagiest player. She probably learned that in her Miss USA/Miss Earth pageant days. (She’s the fourth Miss USA delegate to compete on Survivor.)
